Our Daily Focuses
The following focuses are interwoven throughout the Montessori curriculum, creating an integrated and child-centered learning environment that respects each child's individual pace and interests. Our goal is to develop well-rounded individuals with a strong foundation in academic, social, and practical skills.
Practical Life
Objective: Develops life skills and promotes independence.
Activities: Daily tasks such as pouring, cleaning, dressing, and food preparation that enhance fine and gross motor skills, concentration, and coordination.
Sensory Awareness
Objective: Enhances sensory perception and discrimination.
Activities: Sensorial materials and exercises that engage the senses (sight, touch, sound, taste, and smell) to refine observation, discrimination, and cognition.
Language Arts
Objective: Fosters language acquisition, communication, and literacy skills.
Activities: Use of specially designed materials to introduce language concepts, encourage reading, writing, and spoken language development.
Cultural Subjects
Objective: Nurtures an understanding of the world and appreciation for diverse cultures.
Activities: Exploration of geography, history, biology, botany, and other cultural subjects through hands-on experiences, storytelling, and exposure to various cultures.
Mathematics & Geometry
Objective: Develops mathematical understanding and logical thinking.
Activities: Hands-on materials that introduce abstract mathematical concepts through concrete experiences, paving the way for understanding arithmetic, geometry, and problem-solving.
Outdoor Play
Objective: Promotes physical development, social skills, and a connection with nature.

Activities: Outdoor play in a Montessori setting often involves activities that encourage movement, coordination, and teamwork.
